The difference

Part replacement and electronic diagnosis solve different problems.

The customer-friendly explanation is simple: if the obvious part is not the real source of failure, the electronics behind it need to be tested.

Standard repair

Part replacement

A known failed part—such as a screen, battery or standard connector assembly—is replaced and the device is tested.

Advanced repair

Board-level diagnosis

The fault is traced through circuitry, power rails, connectors and components to identify what is actually failing.

Advanced work stays in-house.

All repair work accepted by Start Technology is completed in our own workshop using our own advanced diagnostic, micro-soldering and electronic repair equipment.

A previous diagnosis may be correct—but a board fault sometimes deserves a closer look before the device is written off.

We will inspect the device, explain whether further investigation is sensible and make the limits clear. Some repairs are technically impossible or economically unwise, and we will say so.
