Information collected

A repair enquiry may include your name, mobile number, email address, contact preference, device information, fault history, optional photographs or video, preferred drop-off details and consent record.

Why it is used

The information is used to respond to your request, create and manage the repair or drop-off ticket, assess the next practical step and communicate about the requested service. Submitted media is used only for the enquiry unless separate permission is agreed.

Storage and access

Website tickets and attachments are stored in a private server folder outside the public website. Access should be limited to authorised Start Technology staff. Information should be kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the enquiry, service record and applicable business obligations, then securely deleted.

Your choices

You may ask Start Technology to provide, correct or delete information connected with your enquiry, subject to any record the business must retain. No non-essential analytics or advertising cookies are included in this package.

Customer device data

Repair stories must not expose customer names, phone numbers, messages, account information, confidential files or inappropriate serial information. Separate media consent should be obtained where required.
